Talk:About OpenZFS
Goals here should be consistent with, and maybe more detailed than, goals at the main page.

Logos, texts, licensing, permission
Are all logos – in particular, those at Companies and organizations – truly Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike?

No, the logos are used with permission; the text content is creative commons. Mahrens (talk) 23:32, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
Non-Profit Organization
We would like to form a non-profit organization to hold the openzfs assets. Perhaps a foundation? Or become part of an existing foundation to avoid some legal work? More research is needed here. Would appreciate feedback from anyone with more experience.

If the OpenZFS project envisages an OpenZFS Foundation:
- the Plone Foundation may be exemplary.

The project and its projects
Food for thought … first impressions to newcomers … as currently drafted, the site includes:
- the OpenZFS project
- OpenZFS projects – active projects and three categories of ideas – and I guess that only some of these are (or will be) led by the OpenZFS project.
Wonder whether:
- the Projects page could be renamed to Activities
- with two main headings Work in progress and Ideas
- and subheadings beneath the latter: Inter-platform coordination, General features, Lustre features.
- with two main headings Work in progress and Ideas
(There's nearly always some form of activity around an idea – chat is an activity, and so on.)
